Higher - DJ Khaled, Nipsey Hussle, John Legend - New Release

A lot has taken place in the last few weeks surrounding the absolutely mind numbing murder of Los Angeles iconic rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Mysteriously gunned down directly in front of the majestic seed of his rise to rap, business, entrepreneurship and taste making empire All Money In / The Marathon Clothing, Nipsey prolifically delivered a soul stirring collaboration with renown artist and producer DJ Khaled as well as R&B great John Legend just days before his death. 

The song comprised of a strong choir layered classic fashionably dipped in a very contemporary melodic yet true hip hop ready neighborhood anthem runs through the stone cold genealogy of Hussle and his numerous meditations of the climb associated to "A tier Nipsey Hussle" and universal "Higher" goals and aspirations. Khaled and Legend mingle well in the anthem soulfully reiterating the conscious lead of Nip and the visuals many matching textures and tones.

"Higher" can be found peacefully tied to Khaled's newest project and work "Father of Asad". Fresh off the shelf, its hard to judge it right out of the gate however comprised from a more generally "centered" Khaled, it presents itself to be a prized work via its creator.
