DJ KHALED x AIR JORDAN 8 (RED VELVET CAKE) PACK

Team Jordan teams up with Mr. "We The Best" DJ Khaled and will finally grant him a much sought after colabo. The Brand has invited him to design his own series of sneakers and apparel, and as of June 4 the first installment of the ‘Special Cloth Collection’ will drop at Jordan stockists globally.

Hats off to Khaled for opting for the not so used Jordan 8 as his base, the shoe features a rich burgundy suede and vegan leather then gets it's life from it's South Beach turquoise accents. The colourway is said to be inspired by red velvet cake from Khaled’s Miami Finga Licking restaurant, hence the cream cheese-coloured midsole with pistachio and saffron speckling sprinkle. Other keynotes include ‘Just Know’ Khaled catchphrase embossing across the lace strap, and gold-plated ‘Major Key’ on the lace pull.

The first drop from the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan ‘Special Cloth Collection’ will debut on Saturday, June 4. with more rumored to be on the way by the year’s end.
