Could The Off WHITE x Air Jordan 1 Be The Biggest Colab For The Two Brands Yet?

Photos surfaced a few days back of what very well looks like another joint effort between OFF WHITE and the Nike brand, and this time the canvas is the OG Jordan 1. Jordan brand has been rolling out the team effort designs lately with the release of most notably the Kaws x Jordan 4 but the OG 1 has not been touched by 3rd party designers since Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment 1.

Not wanting to disappoint, this very well may be the best Nike mash up by Virgil Abloh and team. Featuring a classic Chicago Bulls red/black colorway, the medial side Swoosh logo has been removed completely leaving only remnants of the preferred dots where it once was. Stamped over the top of that is an ode to the city and year the original Jordan 1 was released, there also appears to be a leather tag attached to the upper reading 85. Speaking of the upper, it would appear that the classic leather upper has been updated with black denim assign a stylish touch.

The outside design brings perhaps the most artistic contribution in my opinion, with a seemingly free floating Swoosh which is only attached by blue accent stitching on the front and back. Topped off with off white accents and "Air" printed on the sole, this sneaker screams High fashion/Streetwear flare.

No official word has been released as to weather or not these are merely samples or if they will actually release to the public, but stay tuned for more info.
